Get Smart Cast & Crew to Reunite at Gala Dinner

The cast and crew of the Emmy-winning comedy series Get Smart will be reuniting November 7th at Barsac Brasserie in Los Angeles for a gala dinner and tribute. Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, Buck Henry, Leonard Stern, and Jay Sandrich are just some of the cast and crew that will be attending the event, sponsored by WouldYouBelieve.com.

The cast and crew of the Emmy-winning comedy series Get Smart will be reuniting November 7th at Barsac Brasserie in Los Angeles for a gala dinner and tribute. Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, Buck Henry, Leonard Stern, and Jay Sandrich are just some of the cast and crew that will be attending the event, sponsored by WouldYouBelieve.com.

The Get Smart Gathering will reunite over 20 of the show's cast and crew, along with a limited number of fans. "The purpose of the dinner is to honor the people who created such a memorable show," said organizer Carl Birkmeyer, "and let them know that the show has had a lasting impact on people's lives." Fans from China, Great Britain and Australia will be attending the event to illustrate the show's worldwide and lasting impact.

Among the people scheduled to attend are series' stars Don Adams and Barbara Feldon, as well as Dave Ketchum and William Schallert. Representing the writing and producing staff will be Buck Henry, Leonard Stern, Gerald Gardner, Whitey Mitchell and Jay Sandrich. Production staff attending are Bruce Bilson, Gary Nelson and Reza Badiyi, among others.

The event begins with a cocktail reception at Barsac at 5:30 PM and features a sit-down dinner, a tribute to the show from fans, and a question and answer session. Tickets are $125 and only available in advance from http://www.WouldYouBelieve.com.

A portion of the night's proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association in the memory of Edward Platt. Platt, who played "The Chief," passed away in 1974 of a heart attack. His widow and children are expected to attend the event in his honor.  (PR Web)
