Interview with a die-hard Angelina Jolie fan
By Joel Block
Taking Lives movie premiere
May 16, 2004
Mann’s Chinese Theater, Hollywood, CA
I got to the premiere several hours early. By 4PM, there were about 200+ fans waiting across the street from the Mann's Chinese Theater hoping to get a glimpse of Angelina Jolie and other celebrities when they arrive and get out of their limos to walk the red carpet.
I asked a fan if she would let me interview her. I spoke briefly with Emily from Newhall, CA. Newhall is about an 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive North of the Los Angeles area.
I asked her if she saw the movie this weekend when there was a sneak preview in
several theaters Saturday night. She liked it.
I asked her how she found out about the Taking Lives Hollywood premiere. She said that she found the information on the internet about two weeks ago.
I asked her if she had seen all of Angelina Jolie's movies. She had seen everything except Playing God.
I was vaguely famliar with Angelina Jolie's cause as a good-will ambassador. Emily quickly mentioned the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
